It's very common for businesses to use several off the shelf local or cloud applications for their day to day work. Unfortunately these applications often don't talk to each other, so can lead to you having to manually move data from one to the other. We can help by writing an automated solution, sometimes incredibly quickly.
Quick Turn around
Sometimes, an application is required with a short deadline and Navigator Systems' rapid development systems allow us to develop apps incredibly quickly. This application for Hampshire Scouts, which manipulates data from an existing database system and converts it in to data suitable for MailChimp was written, tested and delivered within 48 hours.
Large and small
Many of the applications that we build are complex, multi-user database applications, sometimes supporting hundreds of users, but we also write small one user apps. This for example, was an application written for a local charity FoodCycle Bath. FoodCycle cooks free community meals using supermarket surplus food and so doesn't know what ingredients they'll have available until the last minute. This app allows them to print food safety labels, showing today's dishes, quickly and efficiently, ready to be stuck on to their take-away containers.
Web Apps
If access to an application is required by many people in a business, sometimes a web based application may be more convenient as it requires no installation on the user's device and updates can be easily rolled out to all users. This web based timeline was written for one of our customers to pull data from an existing database and display it visually in a web browser that all their employees could access, whether they had access to the main database or not.
