RentalDesk includes the ability to keep track of financial information related to your jobs. While RentalDesk is not a complete accounting solution, much of the necessary information is stored in the program, which can then be exported out to your accounting package. There may be times when you will require a refundable deposit for equipment that is being taken by the customer. You may also need to store certain identification information from a customer to guarantee it's return. The Deposits and Financial Information is where this information can be stored.
The popup form that manages this information can be opened from a number of places in RentalDesk; what information is displayed depends on the context of where it is opened from.
