Free Text Defaults

RentalDesk includes the ability to enter free text onto an equipment list. However, when this is done, you may wish to assign certain defaults as to how this information is stored and displayed.

Free Text Nominal Default

This is the nominal code that is will be used by all free text entries. Choose from the drop down window.

Free Text Category Default

Choose from the drop down window the equipment category you wish to assign all Free Text Lines.

Always Use Default Free Text Category

If this box is checked, then all Free Text Lines will use the category chosen from the Category Default. If it is left unchecked, then a free text item picks up the category of the line above it on an equipment list. If this line above the free text is a section header, it will use the default Category set in the category default.
