The Tree View is available for users that wish to better understand and find their equipment. This is also where you can arrange the sort order of all your equipment. The sort order affects how the data will appear in the popstock window and also how it will appear on your printed forms. The data area will change depending on which level of equipment is selected.
A search window is provided to quickly find the information for which you are looking.
Select a level which you wish to search and enter text into the description and press the 'First' button. You may type any part of a word which RentalDesk will use as your search criteria. You may then press the 'Next' button to find the next instance of that description.
Changing the Sort Order of your equipment
You may wish to specify the order of how you wish your equipment to appear. For instance, you may wish that all audio equipment precede your lighting equipment. This can be done from the tree view of the equipment book.
Select either the Master Category, Category, Type or barcode and then use either 
buttons. The position of the selection will move up or down until you place it where you want.
