This tab allow you to tidy up your equipment book where you have more than one kit entry for the same type. Say, for example, you have "Shure SM57 Mic" and "Microphone, Shure SM57" and "Shure SM-57 Microphone". You will probably have booked each of these out on jobs and your availability checking is going to be confused. By using the advanced you can re-assign "Shure SM57 Mic" to "Microphone, Shure SM57" and update all your job history, audit trail etc and then remove "Shure SM57 Mic"from the database.
Locate the type you wish to remove using the Search function.
Now pick the Type that you wish you to merge in the search window
Press the DO MERGE Button.
