Consigned Barcodes

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

Consigned barcodes are barcodes which are not owned by any warehouse, but owned by another company. A consigned barcode will allow you to track a piece of equipment through the warehouse. For instance, you may have borrowed a piece of equipment from another company and wish to track its usage & income through a series of jobs so that you can share the revenue on that equipment. A consigned barcode does NOT affect the asset valuation of your equipment, nor does it add to your stock levels.
