Equipment in HireTrack NX may be used without barcodes where tracking of individual pieces of equipment is not required, the program then tracks purely by the quantity of the Type being used such as 5 Apogee AE-5 speakers. Alternatively tracking can be performed down to an individual level to AE-5 barcode number 10001.
Accordingly there are two places to stock equipment In and Out.
| • | One is on the Inventory Module>Types page and is used for Stocking In non-barcoded or serialised equipment. |
| • | The second is Inventory Module> Items page and is used for Stocking In serialized unique equipment which will have a barcode attached. |
Both have the same user interface however the controls on the items page allow barcode entry.
