Deactivating a User

If a user leaves the company or no longer needs access to HireTrack you will need to deactivate that user from the system. It is not possible to delete the user as there is a history of information for that user. So by deactivating the user, they will no longer be able to log into the system. To deactivate a user, select the Users from the Software Configuration.

You will need to unselect the ACTIVE checkbox and you will also want to remove them as a General User to prevent login.

If you do not uncheck Job Handler, other users will be able to select them as a Job Handler. However, all historical jobs will still display that user as the handler for those Jobs.
If you do not uncheck Sales Person, other users will be able to select them as a Sales Person. However, all historical jobs will still display that user as the Sales Person for those Jobs.
