There are two types of composite.
The regular composite made up of one or more items that do not have barcodes or barcoded composites where a specific composite is made up of specific barcoded examples.
Regular composites
A regular composite does not have to have a barcode. In which case counting out the composite will also change the quantities of its components - so for
example
if we put 1 in the prepped column, the corresponding number of composite parts are also sent out
or if there is a barcode for the composite but its individual pieces aren't barcoded, scanning the composite barcode has the same effect
as you can see, the barcode column shows that the composite was sent out by barcode and the parts were also sent out.
Or if we count out the two parts that make up a composite (the Mixer and the amplifier in this case) the system realises that the corresponding composite part should also be sent out
first the mixer is sent out
then the amplifier is sent out
the composite is also automatically sent out.
Barcoded Composites
In this example the Composite has a barcode - and this barcode has two pieces allocated to it also with barcodes.
So entering in the composites barcode also automatically scans out the attached barcodes
